Write the arrangement in plain words. "I am married, I want to meet someone occasionally, and I can do weekday lunches" will get fewer replies than a vague flirt, and the replies it gets will be from people who want the same thing. That is the point. Hints attract people who are guessing, and guessing is how someone gets hurt.
Say what you cannot offer as clearly as what you can. If you cannot stay the night, if you cannot be public, if you cannot leave the relationship you are in, put that in the profile. A serious person would rather read it there than discover it after they have become attached.
You do not have to be crude. Plain is not explicit. You are describing the shape of the arrangement: how often, how secret, and whether it is allowed to become anything else. Leave the rest for a conversation with someone who has already agreed to that shape.
Avoid the stock lines. "No time wasters", "here for a good time", and "you know what I am looking for" tell the reader nothing except that you did not want to decide. People who are discreet still need a sentence they can answer yes or no to.
If you are single and you want a discreet relationship because of work or family nearby, say that too. Discretion is not a code for one situation. The other person needs to know which situation is yours before they suggest a plan.
A profile that says the true thing is also easier to trust. Copied hints are what fake accounts use, because a hint cannot be checked. A specific limit can. Read the guide on how discretion works before you add any detail you would mind a stranger keeping.
