What to say about yourself, what to leave out, and how to sound like a person rather than an advert.
An open blank notebook and a pen next to a cup of tea.

Say what you are looking for in plain words. Discretion only works when both people want the same arrangement. A profile that hints, or that copies a template, gets fewer serious replies, because the other person cannot tell whether you want the same thing.

One honest paragraph is enough. Where you are, what you can offer, and what you cannot. If you are already married or in a long relationship, say so. Letting someone find that out later is how a careful arrangement becomes a mess.

Use a photo you are willing to be recognised from. It does not need to be explicit, and it should not be a professional set that could belong to anyone. Say how discreet you need to be, in a sentence, so the other person can decide if that fits their life.

Do not put your surname, your workplace, your phone number, or a way to contact you outside Only Amour on the profile. Those details are not what makes a profile trustworthy. They are what makes it risky. Messages stay on the site until you know who you are talking to.

Write it yourself. A short, specific profile is easier to trust than a long one that could have been pasted from anywhere. If you would not say the sentence out loud to someone in a quiet bar, do not put it on the profile.

Read the guide on saying what the arrangement is if you are stuck on the wording. Plain description is not crude. It is how two adults avoid wasting each other's time.
