Dating as a lawyer

A firm name, a chambers listing, and a photo outside a court are how a client or a colleague finds you.
A lanyard lying face down beside a coffee, with the badge turned over.

A client who is also a member should not be able to match your profile to a chambers biography. Do not name the firm. Do not use a photo in court dress, or outside the building. A username that is not your professional name is the point of having one. Say you want a private arrangement, and leave the rest for a conversation you choose to have.

The rest is the same whatever the job is. Leave the employer, the building, and a uniform off the profile. A photo in work clothes, with a badge the right way up, or outside the place you work tells a colleague more than a username ever would. Other members see a username, an age, a town, and the photos you chose. They do not see a surname or a workplace unless you typed them in. Who can see your profile is the list.

You can also choose not to appear to other members in your own town, from Privacy. You can still look. If a colleague may already be a member, you can hide your profile from an email address they use. Once that address is added, it cannot be removed. Check the spelling before you save it.

If you recognise someone from work, stop and keep it to yourself. If you recognise someone is that duty. The longer version is a job where you cannot be seen dating. This site will never ask you to pay to keep a workplace off the page.
