Who can see your profile

What other members can read, what is not on the page, and why a web search will not open it.
A closed laptop on a side table, with the curtains drawn.

Your profile is for people who have an Only Amour account and are signed in. Someone who is not signed in is sent to log in. The page is not published for search engines. Searching the web for your surname does not open it.

Other members see the username you chose, your age, your town and county, and the photos and words you decided to publish. They do not see your surname, your home address, your workplace, or your phone number, unless you write those in yourself. The discretion guide is the list of what to leave out.

A partner, a colleague, or a neighbour who is not a member cannot browse to the profile and read it. Someone who is a member, and who is signed in, can. That is the exchange. You are visible to other adults on the site, and not to the open web.

Messages are not part of the profile. What you write to one person stays in that conversation. It is not attached to your page for the next member to find.

An age check, if you have done one, can show as a check. It does not put your legal name on the profile, and it does not publish the document. Explicit photos stay blurred for members who have not chosen to see them. The age-check guide explains that switch.

Choose a username you would be willing for another member to read. Discretion is the detail you withhold, not a hidden account. If one member is a problem, block them. The rest of the site does not need to change because one person was careless.
