Empty café tables on a quiet stone street, with flowers in the window.

When your family would talk

What to keep off the profile when a parent, a sibling, or a community would recognise you.
A closed front door, with one coat on the hook.

You can want a private arrangement and still have a family who would talk. Say that the arrangement stays between you. Do not name a parent, a sibling, a partner, or the community. "I need this kept quiet because of my family, I am married, and I can meet at lunch" is a profile. The story of why they would talk is not.

Keeping this from your children is the page when the worry is a teenager or a grown-up child and the phone. A job where you cannot be seen dating is the page when it is work. This page is the rest of the house, and the people who know your name in it.

A web search does not open your profile. A shared tablet might, if you left it signed in. Turn previews off. On Privacy you can hide the profile from your own town, and you can pause it while you look. A small town, where people know you is that switch in full. The meeting is not at home.

Only Amour will never ask you for a fee to keep the account off a search, or to message someone. You do not owe a stranger a photograph of your life at home to prove you can be discreet.
